Studio Creō is high-end residential and commercial architectural design firm located in Melbourne, Australia.

We create innovative and sustainable design solutions that respond to each client’s site, region, and the needs. We create architectural solutions for residential and commercial clients throughout Australia, always looking to ensure the appreciation of space, successful project delivery, and design excellence.

The company consists of two specialists in all major areas of architectural design: Dan Maunders and Anneliese Dekiere.

Deeply embedded in our work is a intimate relationship between the architectural brief and final outcome. Projects are built around specific client, site, environmental and constructional needs.

We have our process down pat due to our extensive experience across all project phases.


Project Briefing

The first stage of any project involves discussing the clients brief including spatial, aesthetic, functional and cost and time considerations. Our understanding of a project’s brief is critical to the success of any project.


Schematic Design

The schematic design phase involves fact finding and exploring ideas. Collecting site information, undertaking site investigations and developing a detailed existing conditions 3D model will allow us to explore as many design layout options as feasibly possible.

As design options develop we work through various iterations until we have landed on a layout that ticks the boxes in line with the clients brief.


Design Development

The design development phase involves the progression of a preferred chosen layout and see the floorplan develop in 3D with materials, general internal layouts and initial ESD analysis.


Town Planning / Development Appl.

If required, Studio Creō will provide full Town Planning services including preparation of documentation, lodgment and liaising with the relevant authority to ensure the Town Planning / Development Application approval is obtain in a quick, smooth process.


Construction Documentation

In this phase, we start working on detailed construction documentation plans, schedules and specifications. We also engage with specialist consultants who add value to the project through their expertise and documentation required for construction.


Construction Administration

The final phase of the process involves the selection of the construction contractor and acting as the clients representative during construction. We love seeing our designs come to life with the fantastic builders we partner with so this stage is one of the most enjoyable and rewarding.
